About QCAD

QCAD is a 2D CAD program for technical drawings such as building plans, interiors and mechanical parts. It is easy to learn and offers layers, blocks, dimensions, hatches and a large library of parts.

The QCAD Community Edition is free and open source and works natively with DXF files. QCAD Professional is a paid edition that adds DWG support and extra tools; with the free edition you can use the free ODA File Converter to work with DWG files.

QCAD runs on Windows, Mac and Linux.
