Status. .NET Framework 1.1 is one of the earliest versions of the .NET Framework and has been out of support for many years. It is not part of the newer .NET Framework packages and is not intended for current versions of Windows. Programs that need .NET 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5 use .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, and newer programs use .NET Framework 4.8.1.
