Faasoft Audio Converter from Faasoft Corporation was an audio conversion program that converted between audio formats such as MP3, WAV, WMA, APE, M4A, AAC, AC3, QCP and others, and could extract audio from video files such as MOV, MP4, AVI, DivX, MPG, VOB, MKV, WMV, FLV and MTS.
It could also play audio files, and users recommended it for opening unusual formats such as the QCP recordings made by some mobile phones and converting them to MP3 or WAV. Faasoft offered the converter for both Windows and Mac, and claimed its tools converted audio and video quickly without loss of quality.
Status: the Faasoft website (faasoft.com) no longer works – it now redirects through a chain of unrelated websites – so the program is no longer offered.
