Encrypt

The encrypt program allows you to encrypt and decrypt regular text using Data Encryption Standard (DES), a block cipher encryption using a symmetric-key algorithm. After you encrypt a text message you can copy and paste the encrypted "text" into any program such as email, a chat or messaging program, or even a word document. The encrypted "text" can only be decrypted by those who know the particular key used to encrypt the messages.
