About AVG AntiVirus Free

AVG AntiVirus Free is a free antivirus program from AVG, part of Gen Digital (the company behind Avast and Norton). It protects against viruses, spyware, ransomware and other malware, blocks unsafe links and downloads, and checks e-mail attachments, with security updates in real time.

The free version is for personal and family use. The paid plans add more: AVG Internet Security includes an enhanced firewall, webcam protection and protection against fake websites, and AVG Ultimate also adds a VPN and the TuneUp performance tool.

AVG is available for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS. Always download it from the official avg.com website.
