About xlsCal – Excel calendar add-in (discontinued)

This add-in is discontinued. xlsCal was a small Spanish-language add-in that added a pop-up calendar to Microsoft Excel 2003, 2007 and 2010 on Windows. When you selected a cell formatted as a date, an icon appeared; clicking it, or choosing "Mostrar calendario" from the right-click menu, opened a calendar for picking the date.

The developer's website (excel.facilparami.com) is no longer online, so the add-in can no longer be bought or updated, and it was made for Excel versions that are now long out of support.

What to use instead: in current versions of Excel, open Home → Add-ins (or Insert → Get Add-ins) and search the Office Add-ins store for "date picker" or "calendar" to find a maintained date-picker add-in that works with Microsoft 365. You can also use Data Validation to make sure a cell only accepts dates.
