About Win7Calc

Win7Calc from Openview Publishing is a powerful, feature-rich, comprehensive calculator. It is a financial calculator, a scientific calculator, a business calculator, a personal finance calculator and a math calculator, and it contains a very large number of calculations. It also offers graphing of mathematical functions, so you can see and visualize the problems you are solving – all from one screen.

The easy menu system contains many functions, including:

  • Statistics
  • Calculus – integrals, derivatives and series, and solving for equation roots
  • Probability – permutations and combinations
  • Advanced keys – cube root, factorial, log to any base n, nth roots
  • Unit conversion
  • Time value of money – present and future value, period cash flow, interest and term
  • Net present value and internal rate of return
  • Amortization, mortgage payment and refinance
  • Annuity
  • Retirement and 401k
  • Stock import and valuation
  • Bond valuation and analysis
  • Discounted notes and stock option analysis
  • Capital recovery and sinking fund
  • Compounding and interest rate conversion
  • Inventory control and breakeven
  • Physics – work, energy, distance, conversions and more
  • Algebra, trigonometry and geometry
  • Marketing – discounts, markups and more

Equation library. The calculator has a built-in library of 80 equations. Look them up by category, enter your data and see the answer in seconds. You can also add, edit and save your own equations to the library.

Graphing. It plots functions, definite integrals and derivatives: type in an equation and it is interpreted, parsed and displayed as a graph, showing the function, the integrated area and the derivative. It also plots statistics – regression and five probability distributions (Binomial, Chi-squared, Student's t, Normal and Poisson) – and can solve for the roots of functions and show the results on graphs.

Statistics. The statistics function provides all the important statistics as output and automatically includes four regression models. Choose the models you want and forecast data with the results.

Stock import. Enter a stock symbol to import current stock data and get a valuation based on your expected growth rate and return expectations.

Personal finance. A whole series of functions covers personal financial planning – retirement, mortgage, investments and monthly budgets.

It is easy to use, with built-in examples and simple, intuitive navigation.
