About Website DORM

Website DORM from Hitek Software combines three tools in one: a website downloader, an offline reader and a change monitor. Its name comes from those three jobs – Downloader, Offline Reader and Monitor.

How it works. The program spiders a website, downloads its pages and keeps checking them on a schedule. You can limit a download to specific file types or folders of a site. After each run, a summary on the main panel shows which sites have changed, and a detail table lists every page with the time it was last updated and the time you last viewed it.

Color-coded overview. Pages are marked in colors so you can see at a glance what is new: blue for pages updated since you last looked, green for pages you have already viewed after the last update, and yellow for pages you have never opened. This makes Website DORM useful for following news pages, competitor sites or any page you need to watch for changes, and for reading saved copies without an internet connection.
