TorniaiSansUT Regular was the standard, everyday weight of the Torniai Sans type family, a sans-serif typeface sold by Unifonts (also known as Unitype), a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York.
This page covers the Regular style for Windows (PC), sold as a single font. A regular weight is the one designed for reading: it is the usual choice for body text, paragraphs, documents and interface text, where lighter weights become too thin and heavier ones too dark.
Torniai Sans came in five weights – Light, Regular, Bold, Heavy and Black – each with a matching italic, plus a complete family pack, separate Mac editions and an old-style figures version called TorniaiSansOsfUT.
Unifonts sold around 1,100 fonts in Type 1 and TrueType formats. Its website is no longer online, so this font can no longer be licensed. This page is kept as a historical record.
