About TorniaiSansUT Typeface Heavy PC (archived)

TorniaiSansUT Heavy was the upright Heavy weight of the Torniai Sans type family, a sans-serif typeface sold by Unifonts (also known as Unitype), a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York.

This page covers the Heavy style for Windows (PC), sold as a single font. Darker than Bold and just short of Black, Heavy offered a solid, confident weight for headlines, banners, product labels and signs – text meant to be seen first.

Torniai Sans came in five weights – Light, Regular, Bold, Heavy and Black – each with an italic, plus family packs, Mac editions and an old-style figures version (TorniaiSansOsfUT).

Unifonts' website is no longer online, so this font can no longer be licensed. This page is kept as a historical record.
