About TorniaiSansUT Typeface Family PC (archived)

TorniaiSansUT was a sans-serif type family sold by Unifonts, also known as Unitype, a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York. Every typeface in the Unifonts catalog carried the suffix UT in its name, which is why this family appears as TorniaiSansUT.

This page covers the family pack for Windows (PC), which bundled the complete set of weights. Unifonts also sold a separate Mac edition of the same family, as well as individual weights on their own.

The family came in five weights, each with a matching italic: Light, Regular, Bold, Heavy and Black. Unifonts also offered a related version called TorniaiSansOsfUT with old-style figures, and a companion family named TorniaiUT.

Unifonts sold around 1,100 fonts for Windows and Mac in Type 1 and TrueType formats. Its website, unifonts.com, is no longer online, so this family can no longer be bought or licensed. This page is kept as a historical record; for current font work, see the alternatives listed on this page.

Who made TorniaiSansUT?
It was part of the Unifonts collection, also known as Unitype, a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York.

What can I use instead of TorniaiSansUT today?
