About TorniaiSansUT Typeface Family Mac (archived)

TorniaiSansUT Family for Mac was the complete Macintosh package of the Torniai Sans type family, a sans-serif typeface sold by Unifonts (also known as Unitype), a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York.

Instead of buying each weight separately, Mac users could get the whole family in one purchase: five weights – Light, Regular, Bold, Heavy and Black – each with a matching italic. That gave designers everything needed to build a consistent layout, from light headings to heavy display text and readable body copy.

A separate Windows family pack existed for PC users, and Unifonts also sold an old-style figures version called TorniaiSansOsfUT.

Unifonts sold around 1,100 fonts in Type 1 and TrueType formats. Its website is no longer online, so this package can no longer be licensed. This page is kept as a historical record.
