TorniaiSansUT Black was the heaviest weight of the Torniai Sans type family, a sans-serif typeface sold by Unifonts (also known as Unitype), a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York.
This page covers the Black style for Windows (PC), sold as a single font. With the thickest strokes in the family, Black was built for posters, covers, large headline words, scoreboards and logotypes – places where a few words must dominate the whole design.
Torniai Sans came in five weights – Light, Regular, Bold, Heavy and Black – each with an italic, plus family packs, Mac editions and an old-style figures version (TorniaiSansOsfUT).
Unifonts' website is no longer online, so this font can no longer be licensed. This page is kept as a historical record.
