About TorniaiSansOsfUT Typeface LightItalic Mac (archived)

TorniaiSansOsfUT Light Italic for Mac was the thin italic old-style figures style of Torniai Sans, sold by Unifonts (also known as Unitype), a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York.

This page covers the Light Italic style for Macintosh, sold as a single font. It gave Mac layouts a soft, literary italic in which numbers – in photo captions, credits or quoted dates – flow with the letters rather than interrupting them.

The Osf family included Light, Regular, Bold and Black with italics, sold for Mac and Windows; TorniaiSansUT offered lining figures instead.

Unifonts' website is no longer online, so this font can no longer be licensed. This page is kept as a historical record.
