TorniaiSansOsfUT Family for PC was the complete Windows package of the old-style figures version of Torniai Sans, sold by Unifonts (also known as Unitype), a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York.
The "Osf" fonts kept the letters of TorniaiSansUT but replaced the numerals with old-style figures – digits that rise and fall like lowercase letters, so dates, page numbers and quantities blend into running text. Because Type 1 and TrueType fonts could hold only one set of numerals, Unifonts released these as a separate family.
This pack bundled all the Osf styles listed in this catalog – Light, Regular, Bold and Black, each with an italic – in one purchase, giving book and magazine designers a full text family with old-style numerals throughout.
