About TorniaiSansOsfUT Typeface Family Mac (archived)

TorniaiSansOsfUT Family for Mac was the complete Macintosh package of the old-style figures version of Torniai Sans, sold by Unifonts (also known as Unitype), a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York.

Mac-based book and magazine designers were the natural audience: old-style figures make numbers in running text look like part of the sentence instead of a row of capitals. Since classic Mac font formats held only one numeral set per font, getting these figures meant buying this separate Osf family.

The package covered the Osf styles found in this catalog – Light, Regular, Bold and Black, each with an italic. A Windows family pack was also sold.

Unifonts' website is no longer online, so this package can no longer be licensed. This page is kept as a historical record.
