About TorniaiSansOsfUT Typeface BoldItalic PC (archived)

TorniaiSansOsfUT Bold Italic was the bold italic of the old-style figures version of Torniai Sans, sold by Unifonts (also known as Unitype), a small font vendor run by Victor de Castro from Monroe, New York.

This page covers the Bold Italic style for Windows (PC), sold as a single font. It completed the Osf text set for strong emphasis: bold italic dates in timelines, highlighted figures in sidebars, and lively subheads – all with numerals that dip and rise like the lowercase letters.

The Osf family included Light, Regular, Bold and Black with italics, plus family packs and Mac editions; TorniaiSansUT offered lining figures.

Unifonts' website is no longer online, so this font can no longer be licensed. This page is kept as a historical record.
