The Dead Alive is a novel written by Wilkie Collins based on the famous Boorn Brothers murder case. Recognised by most as an author of the first legal thriller novel, Collins puts forward the story of the Boorn brothers who were wrongly imprisoned and sentenced to death for the murder of their brother-in-law who a year later turned up alive.
