Ever had to read a long document wondering which bit is relevant? Ever struggled through a mass of links in a document, wondering how you?re going to keep track of them, wish you could just browse them alongside your document? Do you spend a lot of time studying or working on documents where you?re constantly fliting between your Word document and your web browser? View our exciting interactice online demo Scanning Links If you?ve answered yes to any of the above, Working Title LinkMiner is the answer. Working Title LinkMiner is an add-in for Word and comes in two versions, a free, personal edition, and a paid-for professional edition. It includes a clever algorythm which extracts all the links from a document and puts them in an easy to use table alongside your document. It will de-duplicate the links and even allow you to scan for only html links, email addresses or FTP addresses. Working alongside your Word document, you can then browse to your links, send emails and take your work a stage further. By viewing web pages side by side with your document, you can compare and generally spend less time researching. Moving the pane into browse mode creates maximum space to research online. In data mode, you can really analyse all your links in the grid. Add notes in the notes column beside each link, re-order and sort the columns and remove the rows which aren?t relevant. In addition, you can highlight the links which are relevant to you, then remove the rest. If you need to include the links at the end of your document, view the links in an easy to copy text window. If you?d like to carry out in depth analysis work, export the links to Excel. Working Title Researcher is a truly flexible, advanced research platform. Basic Mode Ribbon Mode If space on your screen is at a premium, using Ribbon mode allows you to review your links, and even browse to a totally different address, all from inside your ribbon. It also includes additional functions, like the ability to remove the links from inside the document. Ribbon mode is an easy way to preview your links without opening an additional pane. Take Notes You may wish to jot down a few notes or reminders, text which you don?t want in your document, but is relevant to the links being extracted. The built in Notes pane allows you to do exactly this, all while working alongside your Word document. Save and load notes as needed, and maintain multiple notes for different documents. Personal Edition The personal edition is a free download, designed for those who have some, but limited needs. It will present up to four links alongside your document, on a non-sorted basis. You can browse to the links in the preview pane, or open them in your default browser, save the grid and perform all of the investigative operations available within the prefessional/enterprise edition. Professional Edition In the professional edition, there is no limit to the number of links which the scan will find. Create notes, save them for later use and load them back into the notes pane when needed. Scan for only links, email addresses or FTP addresses. Remove duplicates in your results or retain them. The professional edition save time and allows you to fully research all while working alongside your document.
