This version is discontinued. ContaPlus Elite 2012 was the professional edition of ContaPlus, the Sage accounting program that was for many years one of the most widely used accounting packages among small and medium businesses in Spain. It covered general ledger, VAT and tax books, financial statements and multi-company accounting.
Sage no longer sells ContaPlus 2012 as a download. The ContaPlus line ended with the 2013 version, and Sage now offers Sage 50 as its accounting and invoicing software for Spanish businesses, with tools to migrate data from ContaPlus and FacturaPlus. Migration usually requires the last ContaPlus 2013 releases, so older 2012 installations may need updating first; Sage or a Sage partner can advise.
Avoid "free download" copies. ContaPlus was always paid software, so free copies offered online are unofficial and may contain malware, and accounts kept in an unsupported program will not include current tax changes.
