About Birdie MSG to DOC Converter - Enterprise

Birdie MSG to DOC Converter from Birdie Software converts Outlook message (.MSG) files to Microsoft Word (.DOC) format, and saves multiple Outlook MSG files as DOC with different file-naming options. This page covers the Enterprise licence, for use across a whole organization.

It offers bulk conversion of MSG messages to MS Word, creating a single .doc file for each .msg file of MS Outlook. It converts unlimited MSG files with no file-size restriction, handles both UNICODE and ANSI MSG files, and is very easy to operate – even non-technical users can follow its instructions. It supports all Windows editions, including Windows 10 and earlier versions.

Key features

  • Convert MSG in bulk – Convert multiple MSG files in one go with the batch option: save all MSG files in one folder and choose "Add Folder having MSG File(s)". Single mode is also available with "Add MSG File(s)".
  • 8 file-naming options – Keep the original file name, or save by date + from + subject, subject + date, date + subject + from, from + subject + date and other combinations.
  • Retains complete email properties – To, Cc, Bcc, From, sent and received dates and attachments are converted to DOC, and inline images are retained.
  • Saves formatting – Font size, color, text style and other formatting stay the same as in the MSG files, without loss of data.
  • Maintains creation date – Save converted files with the original date the message was received ("Maintain Email Message Date") or with the modified date ("Maintain Original File Creation, Modified Dates").
  • Supports all Word versions – Converted DOC files open in Word 2013, 2010, 2007, 2003, 2002, 2000, 98 and 97. Microsoft Word is needed to open the converted files.
  • No Outlook required – Outlook does not need to be installed. MSG files from Outlook 32-bit and 64-bit (2013, 2010, 2007, 2003 and earlier) are supported.
  • All Windows platforms – Works on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and more.

The demo version converts a single Outlook message so you can test the program.
