Birdie EML to TIFF Converter from Birdie Software converts Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail and Outlook Express emails into Tagged Image File Format (.tiff). This page covers the Personal licence, for private use.
It converts files in both batch and single mode and creates a single .tiff file for each email. There is no EML file-size limit – it was tested with more than 10,000 EML files. It is a Windows product for Windows 10, 8.1 and earlier versions.
Software features
- Convert batch files – If all emails are saved in one folder, convert them at once with "Add folder having EML file(s)"; for single files, use "Add EML file(s)".
- 8 file-renaming options – The default "Use original file name" keeps the actual email file name; seven other naming options are available.
- Supports multiple email clients – Convert emails from Windows Live Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, Outlook Express, Berkeley, Mac Mail, Entourage, Windows Mail and more, without the email program installed.
- Two attachment-saving options – Save attachments in the same folder as the TIFF files, or in respective folders created for each email.
- Keeps all email properties – To, Cc, Bcc, From, subject, date and time and other metadata stay unchanged.
- Retains RTF and HTML formatting – Backgrounds, colors, embedded images and hyperlinks are kept after conversion.
The conversion runs on Windows only; EMLX files from a Mac must be copied to a Windows computer first.
