Airline Ticketing and Reservation Scorecard for Excel was a ready-made Balanced Scorecard template from AKS-Labs, designed to help airline ticketing offices and reservation departments track how well they were performing. It was delivered as a Microsoft Excel workbook, so it could be opened, edited and extended like any other spreadsheet.
What a Balanced Scorecard is. The Balanced Scorecard is a management method that looks beyond financial results. Goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) are grouped into four perspectives – financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth – so a team can see whether its daily work actually supports its strategy. A template like this one supplied a starting set of indicators for a specific industry, which users then adapted to their own targets.
Part of a huge collection. AKS-Labs, founded in 2000 in Raleigh, North Carolina, sold hundreds of these industry-specific scorecards – for restaurants, hospitals, banks, airports, schools, oil production and many other sectors – alongside its BSC Designer software, Compare Suite and Mind Pad. What happened to it. AKS-Labs later continued as BSC Designer, now a cloud-based strategy and KPI platform operated by Kitonik s.r.o. The separate Excel templates are no longer sold as individual downloads; similar scorecards and KPI examples are now part of BSC Designer. This page is kept as a historical record.
